Experience & Skills
• Review architectural plans, drawings, and specifications for compliance with local building codes and regulations
• Perform on-site inspections at various stages of construction
• Identify and document deviations from approved designs and code requirements
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings to stakeholders
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues
• Stay current with updates to building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
• Evaluate and support sustainable building practices and green design initiatives
• Maintain accurate inspection records and project documentation
• Provide technical advice to improve architectural designs and construction processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in architectural inspection or similar role
• Professional certification in architectural inspection (e.g., ICC Certification)
• Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and green architecture concepts
• Ability to read and interpret complex architectural drawings and specifications
• Willingness to travel within Riyadh and surrounding areas
• Proficiency in English; Arabic knowledge is advantageous
