Experience & Skills
• Develop, manage, and evaluate third-party and joint venture agreements, including energy conversion and power purchase contracts.
• Review and verify third-party billing, including capacity charges, energy charges, penalties, and availability factors.
• Conduct performance analyses and benchmarking of third-party cogeneration systems.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, grid codes, and offtake requirements.
• Monitor power offtake, analyze variances, and prepare short-term and long-term forecasts for planning purposes.
• Assess operational, commercial, and contractual risks related to offtake arrangements.
• Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support audits and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure technical adequacy and reliability of electrical systems.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized program.
• Minimum 15 years of field experience in utility or industrial sectors.
• Extensive experience with cogeneration technologies, IPP schemes, BOOT/BOO projects, and power purchase/energy conversion agreements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
