I am a civil engineer, a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering – Alexandria University – Arab Republic of Egypt, Class of 1990, with an overall grade of Very Good and a grade of (Excellent) in my graduation project, which was in the field of structural engineering.
I have over 36 years of experience in managing major engineering projects and supervising their execution with high efficiency in accordance with approved standards. I have worked with several leading companies in this field. I have also been working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1997, where I have undertaken the responsibility of managing multiple projects, starting from the design phase through to final delivery, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, project schedules, and allocated budgets.
Types of Projects Successfully Executed
• Healthcare Sector: Successfully completed more than 16 hospitals with capacities ranging from 50 to 500 beds.
• Hospitality Sector: Successfully delivered more than five hotel projects in Makkah.
• Higher Education Sector: Completed more than three university projects, including Colleges of Engineering, Computer Science, Education, and academic classroom buildings.
• Commercial Sector: Successfully executed more than five shopping mall projects.
• Real Estate Development: Executed works for the Roshn Development Project – Eastern Village, Jeddah.
• Banking Sector: Successfully completed several banking projects, including Bank AlJazira Headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi National Bank (SNB), and Emirates Bank.
• Commercial Markets: Executed the Prince Meteb Market (Souq 7) in Jeddah.
• Roads and Tunnels Sector: Completed the Al-Muaisem Tunnel, approximately 3 km in length, connecting Mina and Al-Muaisem.
• Holy Sites Infrastructure: Successfully executed numerous projects in the Holy Sites, including Mina, Muzdalifah, and Arafat.
• Residential Sector: Delivered numerous residential tower projects, including six residential towers in the Jamarat area.
• Industrial Sector: Successfully completed two major industrial factory projects.
• Entertainment Sector: Executed amusement parks and cinema projects.
I possess strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate between cross-functional teams and departments. I am also experienced in participating in budget preparation. Throughout my career, I have taken on various responsibilities in managing major projects, including execution, planning, coordination with project owners, and daily monitoring to ensure adherence to schedules and implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.
